Kids Glasses

Hi Amazing People!! 🥰
I am needing some advice on kids glasses.
After an appointment with a behavioural optometrist my 3 year old needs glasses for a few years..GREAT! I was trying to process it (and the cost) while also trying to keep my 3 year old happy, so when it came time to find some glasses I wasn’t even looking at prices, just the best fit for his little face..Soooo $400 later here we are!
I want to get him another pair or two as back ups in case he breaks or loses these ones but I can’t afford-to pay that amount of $$$ for them. Has any one brought any cheaper ones online or know of any good places to get some cheap ish frames and lenses? I know SpecSavers and Oscar Wylee do two pairs for $149-$199 but most of their glasses have the plastic built in nose piece instead of the adjustable metal ones and my son needs the latter.
Thanks so much in advance for any hot tips!

Get private cover with ahm extras. I pay $11 a week and get $200 a year glasses. I go
To spec savers and get 2 pairs for that. Get cheap private health cover. I went to opsm prior to spec savers and it cost me a fortune even after my $200, I never went back and always use spec savers now. Speak to spec savers they can order them in.

Spec savers are not the place to get glasses for complex eye issues. Both my partner and my daughter had problems with their scripts through spec savers only to be told there’s nothing wrong with the glasses. Another optometrist was able to rectify the issue.
