Teenage boy skin care

My boys are 14 and 12 and both are pretty much the same developmentally. So that means that both are starting to get a few little pimply things happening around their noses and mouth. Nothing drastic, but I want to know what y'all do/buy to help encourage a healthy skin for them?

My chemist sells a charcoal soap that works better than anything I've tried and it isn't changing their routine to use if they shower daily

I’d personally book them in to see a dermatologist. Their skin may have just minor blemishes but if you use the wrong thing for their skin you can make it worse.
Back in the early 2000s my sister (age 12) had a few pimples, our mother brought her clearsil wipes and suddenly she had horrific acne that at 38 she still suffers with. There are products for all skin types and learning what they skin type is and how to look after it is beneficial.

I would recommend getting them to start with some Cetaphil products. It’s a great brand for sensitive skin. If the problem gets worse than look at the chemist for something stronger. I wouldn’t start with Clearasil because it can be very drying.

I have cystic acne, and I tone with witch hazle morning and night. Never go to bed with out washing my face. A good acne face wash is old school clearacell. To help with over drying of the skin, n oil free moisturiser after toning.
Clean pillow case weekly, and ex exfoliate weekly.
Boys are often reluctant of a skine routine but they don't have to tell their mates.
