Has anyone swapped husbands at the same time or mucked around together in the bedroom with everyone consenting and are close friends? Just as fun, nothing to leave that room and have happy family lives otherwise? This almost happened with my husband and I and our close friends. No someone will end up fucking someone again secretly. That’s all I ever hear about these stories. Personally I don’t see how you just do it once then go on with your life. What’s the point then? NSA sex 99times out of 100 ends messily. At least do it with strangers not your mates.

Sounds like you made the right decision. More than often, they end up separating or one couple enjoy each other’s company and it ends in heartbreak for the other couple. It all sounds fun but in reality it will destroy the friendship.
I think if you were all swingers it could work but if you're not part of that scene this could end really badly and split the lot of you up! If you want to try it, try with strangers. Less risk of it all turning to shit. Don't risk your marriage or your friendship.
