Grey hairs...

Hey mums....
Well I found a grey hair!!! I'm 34 and a mum of 3 and never ever considered myself to be vain at all, I'm fairly happy in my skin, rarely wear make-up and if I do its caus I want too bit I have my insecuritiesas we all do, so please don't judge me but I'm irrationally upset by finding this grey hair!!!
I don't know why but I actually feel like I'm past my prime, as stupid as that sounds, please no judgement. I've just gone back to work in a new career and now I'm old... I know women that rock the greys but I'm beside myself at the thought!!
Oh gosh, I know how ridiculous this is but please tell me I'm not alone here!!

I've been going grey since I was in my teens so it wasn't as big a shock for me.
I used to dye it though, then after a trip to the NT to a mob of amazing ladies (during my 30's) I learned what grey hair is. It's wisdom, it's respect, it's not a sign of growing old but of having lived. I wear my greys with pride now.

Lol don’t stress just colour it if you feel the need to. Just to make you put things into perspective, my daughters friend is 11 and has quite a lot of grey hair. It doesn’t brother her and it means nothing. There is plenty of worse things to worry about. it’s a hair. It’s not important. Health is important. If you are healthy then you are doing great! after 3 kids grey hair hit me too. Not bothered by it.

Hey Mate, I could of written this post. The day I discovered my muliple grey hairs, I stood in my bathroom crying and taking photos from mulitple angles to see how obvious it was...I was 28, I had my kids young and I think at the time, I just felt like all my youth had suddenly drained away and it was a hard slap of reality that I'm getting older.
It actually took me ages to come to terms with it.
But then I did. In fact, its really common for people around our age to start sprouting greys. I don't feel embarrassed or like I'm getting old. I just have some grey hair.
Its ok you are upset, but that feeling will pass and you will be ok with it and you'll no longer give a sh*t. Xxx

I'm so glad you've been able to be okay with it!! I did the exact same thing!! And felt just like that!! I don't want to get old or feel old, we know it's invetable so we don't want it to come so soon.
I am really struggling and expected to get roasted for posting so thank you so much xx

I found my first grey at around age 20.
I had my kids when I was aged 18 and 19 so I already felt way older than I was. That one grey hair just made me feel like this frumpy, haggard old woman that needed to be put out to pasture (which is weird because I'd never think that way about other women).

I'm 32 now, I have a lot more than one grey hair 😂
I still don't love that I'm greying, especially given my brother is quickly approaching 30 and still has a head full of luscious brown hair (asshole lol) and I do still colour my hair but I am no longer ashamed by it.
I don't care if my sparkly regrowth starts showing, I actually joke about my grey hair too. I sure as hell no longer feel old and decrepit because of it, I'm still young AF and I'm not going let any grey hairs tell me otherwise lol.

33 and I’m about 50% grey already. Colour my roots every 3-4 weeks, as I have dark hair. If only my body hair would turn grey instead 😅

I started going grey at 28 years old. I have dark hair and dark skin. I don't think going fully grey is going to work for me so I just keep dyeing my hair.

One of my brother had greys at 21 and the other brother just started getting them now at 35.

Just wait til you find your first Grey eyebrow hair or your first Grey pubic hair, then you feel old
