Hi all
I'm pregnant, week 10 and I have suffered some bad morning sickness.
It has gotten better since I maintain a rather full stomach, I don't feel 'hungry' I just get the feeling of nausea, so I eat and then feel better.
Nearly every single day, from 3pm onwards, I starts to go downhill.... I feel soooo exhausted and sick. My belly just fills up with air, so bad that my pants don't even fit me. This feeling doesn't go away until I go to sleep. My poor partner has to put up with my burps and farts all night and then I wake up, rather normal. Morning are my favourite time of the day
Why do I feel this way only later during the day. And is it normal to have so much gas? I am not even constipated, I have a really stinky soft stool.
I was fine yesterday morning and on my way to brekky, just felt the urge to vomit. Not daily just every now and then.
I have to say I really am not enjoying this
I hate to be touched or kissed by my partner as we usually see each other in the afternoon after work and I feel so sick that I don't like being moved around or not being able to breath normal air if he wants to kiss me ( I feel so sorry for him but I can't even deal with his normal breath, any smell that's not neutral makes me uncomfortable)

Sounds pretty normal to me. That’s how I knew I was pregnant, I felt like crap! For most people the sickness is worse in the morning hence the title ‘morning sickness’ but it can be any time of the day and all day.
I was only sick late in the day. I don't think I know anyone that was only sick in the mornings, if you're going to be sick it can usually happen any time. If you can try having a sleep in the afternoon.
It will get better
Completely normal. I don't even know why morning sickness is called that it's never just in the morning. The gas and increased sense of smell is completely normal as well. Generally these things will settle down after the first trimester (but not always) and then you will get a whole new lot of things like swollen feet and body aches and bub kicking your kidney and bladder, you won't enjoy any of it really but at the end you have a beautiful bubba.
Yep haha
Yeah this is all normal.
I had HG with my first and all day sickness with number 2 and 3 (still shit but slightly more manageable) unfortunately for the entirety of each pregnancy.
Pregnancy isn't fun or enjoyable for a lot of women and I really don't think that's talked about enough!
I seriously would go through labour/delivery 10 times in a row if it meant I could skip the whole pregnancy part.
I know it doesn't seem like it when you're looking down the barrel of the next 8 months feeling like utter shite but you will be okay, you just have to be kind to yourself, take it easy and listen to your body.
