Marriage

I need some advice and please bare with me

My husband and I the past few years have drifted apart. He can be dominating and doesn't communicate. As I've gotten older and my needs have changed I've began speaking up for myself and that's when a fight can happen because I'm.not sitting there agreeing to everything. If I need to talk to him about our relationship I get shut down or he walks away because he doesn't want to talk about it. Now...since covid started..he is fully 100% against the vaccines. And everyone has their choice. He watches everything on tik tok and what nurses who don't want the vaccine say and thinks me and my family are brain washed. It is such a touchy subject to even talk about with him. His family is vaccinated and his reply was "good for them" He even stopped working on the tools and is working from home because he doesn't want to be vaccinated. I havnt told him but I had my first dose of pfizer and think if he found out he would be very angry. He wants to move regional if the kids have to be vaccinated...but that's not what I want. I'm studying atm in a sector where I would have to be vaccinated..he thinks I'm "full of it". I just can't see this marriage lasting. My 12 year old daughter has formed an opinion and is starting to tell him to treat me better or to listen. I feel like I'm so different then he is. He use to drink so much and even telling him that at the time was a big deal and he just walked away. He doesn't care what anyone else thinks or considers what I think. I don't know what to do anymore

This is a time whereby you have realised you have been in a dictatorship instead of a partnership and are no longer to not be heard.

The problem here for your husband is that he hasn’t changed. You have. With age your confidence grows. He needs to step up or you have some tough decisions to make. Especially as you have a daughter who is watching and learning..

Good luck! I wish you all the best!
