Ozempic for weight loss.

Ozempic for weight loss.

I've gained 20kg in the last 2 years from a thyroid condition. My thyroid function has stabilised and I have been trying to lose the weight again with no luck. I calorie count, drink plenty of water and exercise so my Dr has suggested using Ozempic. I've done a bit of research but want to hear about people's experiences on it. We're there side effects? Did it work for you? Did you maintain the weight loss after finishing taking it?

There isn’t a short supply, why shouldn’t everyone be able to access it?

Because it’s for type 2 diabetics not for every Tom dick and Harry to try because there to lazy to actually diet and exercise or even make time to do it I have actually diet and exercised to lose all they weight I have but only got type 2 diabetes due to having gestational diabetes it make me really angry when people go down the I need it for weight loss road also a lot of pharmacies have to special order it in when they know they have someone come in with a script so don’t give me the whole it’s not in short supply bull crap as I know my one did and they couldn’t even ring around to pharmacies in the area as no one else with in the area stocked it and there are at least 6 or more pharmacies around my area

I’m so sorry you feel so angry and triggered by this. I and maaaaaany others are finally having some help with stubborn weight loss that diet and exercise haven’t been able to budge.
It certainly isn’t taken lightly in my case, or handed out freely.
I won’t argue with you, you’ve got some warped perceptions of “poor me” so good luck with that attitude

Wow she should be angry with junkies who get free injections when type 1 diabetics have to pay for theirs. Not angry because of this. I’m going to give this a go. I’ve gained so much weight from medication. I don’t care if she’s angry at me it’s for my health too!

I'm currently taking it for weight loss and have had good results. Some people experience side effects such as nausea but I haven't had any issues. I did find though that initially you need to up your water intake as you can get quite a dry mouth. There are no issues with supply, your pharmacy may just need to order it in if they don't have it in stock.
