Laparoscopic Hysterectomy experiences

Hi I’m considering a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (cervix/ uterus/ tubes removed) leaving ovaries, so no early menopause (I’m mid 30’s). Wanting to know ladies experiences, best decision? And how was recovery? I would be going Private and am 110% finished having children. I have had consult with Specialist already just after experiences and anything I might not have considered. Thanks!

will they even give that to you at your age? I had my boy at 28 and told them I wanted my tubes tied cos I was done before I'd even had him and they said no, I was too young! My sister was the same - 7 pregnancies (3 very difficult live births) by the time she was 28 and they wouldn't give her one either. Did your specialist say they would do it??

Im a 38yr old mum of 2 and I had that exact procedure done at 35yrs, best decision of my life.
Recovery was fine but I had a slight prolapse about a year later that was fixed almost straight away by the same surgeon. Even with this issue its still something I would do again as my quality of life is so much better.
I now feel amazing and it's like brand new down there 😆
