Divorce woes

Hi sisterhood
A question surrounding divorce, married less then 2 years but separated over 2 years when lodging the paperwork. Has anyone been in a position similar and the divorce has been finalised, I know the rules state must be married for 2 years and separated a year and one day. But I didn’t want to wait any longer to lodge! I have been saving my backside off to save the money to payfor the divorce and continue to pay my own bills, It’s not a kind situation and I got the signature with help. I just hoping someone else knows if it’s still going to go through.

Don’t ever lie on government forms or you could be charged.

You have to wait a year before lodging. There is also a concession rate and easy enough to do yourself.
