So I realllly HATE my job! I have almost quit so many times (I’m casual). But I’ve got a lot of bills right now so I’m going to keep on going for another month or 2. I’m definitely quitting then!!! But how do I quit? I wanted to give weeks worth of notice as it’s very busy at Christmas time but scared they could fire me on the spot? I want to leave on good terms and as nicely as possible. Tips?

I think you should give them a heads up that you plan on leaving in the next few months. Keep things friendly. It would be really petty of them to fire you then and there and doubtful because they would still need to find someone to replace you.
You're casual. Your contract states you do not need to give notice and neither do they. That's what casual means. There is no ongoing contract of work committed. You can be polite and give them notice, but don't be surprised if they ask you to finish the shift you are on and finish up. It all depends on the relationship you have with your employer and what type of work you do that makes it appropriate for you to be a casual. In my business the casuals have nominated this as they don't want to commit to regular shifts, they want the freedom - semi-retired, international travellers, building their side gig into a 'proper' job, etc. In all their cases I would love notice should they want to leave as I see them as vital members of our team. But the law says they don't have to...
