Hi Imperfect Mummas
I’m hoping someone might have advice, ideas or understanding for me.
It is almost 4 years since I had my baby and I have been suffering with what I can only describe as “hot flushes” ever since. It comes over me all of a sudden and I sweat like crazy, mostly from my head, neck and face. It can be all over but not usually. It is really embarrassing and is starting to get me down now. I struggled to get pregnant and put on weight during that time, then I did IVF and put on some more weight. I was very hot all through my pregnancy but is far worse now. All of my blood tests come back with normal hormone levels, not premenopause just a bit low in iron. Has anyone else experienced this? Were you diagnosed with something? I’m desperate for some help. Thank You

I get this alll the time too !!!
I have no answers, but a dr did tell me hormones can fluctuate but didn’t state if this was or wasn’t causing my hot flushes. I even had a mamogram at 27 because i often get pain in my right breast - came back clear. So annoying.
Be interesting to see if we can get any answers ! Just know your not alone (I bought a chili towel to help at night )
If its definitely not peri - meni then you could have develooed a condition called Hyperhidrosis. I've had palmer and plantar HH my whole life. There's is treatments but cures are harder.
I have had this since having kids. it can be so embarrassing. It’s mostly likely hormones. Best to try and change your diet and avoid coffee. As soon as I have a coffee I am so hot and sweat. change your diet and speak with your dr.
