I am so over my period! Hey ladies I'm 35 and so over my period. I'm done having kids and just want it gone! Haha! Has anyone else felt like this. How do you feel about your period? Its like I can feel my body going through the motions week by week until my period comes. I find myself so super attracted to my man whilst I am ovulating, like he is a walking dick. I'm super hungry and a bit angry just before. Get horrid breakouts during. And just after I maybe level out for a week. Before it feels like it all starts again! Blah! I have noticed my cycle is getting a little longer to come and the period lasts a little shorter - is this change of life? What were your experiences with menopause?

Absolutely, never been a fan, and it serves no purpose to me, If I could have used hormone therapies I would have gotten rid of it years ago!
Luckily I’m at that stage in life that it’s coming less and less. Each time I hope it’s the last.
I was like clockwork until I hit 47. Then everything changed . That was 2 yrs ago and I've only had two periods since then. No side effects due to peri meni at all. Been waiting for this all my life! BLISS.
Meh. I had no period for about 20 odd years and it was awesome! Now I have it back and I'm still not a fan. I have a few days of constipation before and a day of intense cramping a day or two before. Only a few years to go fingers crossed.
My hubby just got the snip. I'm not even 30 yet and I'm like: I'm still gonna have thesee for ages ugh I don't even need periods anymore cant I turn them off somewhere? 😂
I’m over it. Suffering from infertility, they have never really served any purpose. I’m 52 and no sign of menopause. Cycle is still as regular as it has ever been.
In some ways, blessed, in other ways cursed. Having a regular period and being fertile has meant I’ve been able to have children. But my family is well and truly complete now, so they are a just curse and inconvenience. Especially since I’m now officially peri-menopausal and have had heavy and painful periods for the last 6 months!
I hate them. They're so extremely painful and I have done tests for endo, cysts, cancer, everything and all negative so I don't even get an answer as to why they're so painful.
My periods themselves are fine.
2 days of light bleeding that's almost nothing.
It's the hormonal fluctuations that kill me. I've definitely noticed the difference as I've aged.
I get the sore boobs, sore back, migraines, nausea, flushes, breakouts, sleeplessness, mood swings (feeling completely enraged for no good reason is my favourite 🙄) all in the week before. It's like why is my body doing this to me for a period that's such a non event 😂😭
I don't know. I must be weird but I miss it. I have been on the mirena for nearly 5 years and I can't wait to have it out and have my body go back to normal and get my period again. I probably won't feel the same when it all comes back though 😂.
It's an inconvenience but I wouldn't say it ruins my life or anything. I usually skip mine on the pill anyways but when I do get it, chuck in a tampon and away I go. Pop some pills for the period pain, get a heatpack and drink a lot of water :)
I'm 40 this yr and mine are getting heavier and heavier. So heavy it's hard to manage. I also have endometriosis so they're not fun. But it's just part of life. I don't really think on it too much.
I’m 33 and been getting mine for 23 years. Mine have always been heavy and painful (drs have dismissed my pain all my life). (Sorry for TMI) I have atleast 1-2 days where it is so heavy and my body passes fist sized clots, still no one accepts i am in pain.
I have 1 child who is 9 and do not wish to have any more kids however my all my drs refuse to refer me for a hysterectomy as “you’re too young”. I’ve tried the pill and since i have migraines cannot use it anymore. I’ve tried implanon and bled non stop for 9 months, my dr refused to remove it and told me to wait 3 more months, i told him to remove it or i’ll do myself (he removed it that day). I used Depo and loved it, but gained heaps of weight despite my lifestyle becoming more active (due to zero periods).
I’m losing hope that i’ll ever get a hysterectomy and i’ll just have to wait for menopause 😭
I had an ablation for heavy periods and mine is gonnnnnnnneee!!!
