How the f*ck does one lose weight when stuck in a rut that there seems to be no escape from?! Feeling like sh#t constantly and so depressed from so much sh#t going on in my life but really really needing to lose weight because I feel it will ease some of the pressure (and because I’m a fatty). Just how do you do it? (I am in the middle of organising therapy sessions). I need to get a grasp on utilising positive thoughts! Help!

Its really, really hard on top of depression, stress anxiety.
For three reasons working against you. One, those things and bad sleep actually stops weight loss.
And two, its really hard to get up and do the thing when youre tired, lethargic, sore and mentally done. And its hard to stick to the timetable and the diet with the stress and exhaustion telling you you cant and you need coffee and chocolate.
But, the good part is that the changes, like exercise, drinking water, being busy, feeling good about yourself, have a good impact on your mental health, and can improve sleep.
So start gently and dont be too hard on yourself, because youll grill yourself if its too hard and you fail.
Small goals. Drink 2x water bottles a day. Find things you enjoy doing. Walking, swimming, cycling and fit in 3x hours a week. Calorie count and find what you need to change or cut down, and make or find really healthy meals and snacks that you love.
Oh sister I feel you..
I lost weight with my own version which I called the 100gram a day plan. I graze all day long so I'm never hungry. I don't eat full meals such as breakfast , lunch and dinners in one sitting to avoid bloating and weight gain. Grazing is all it takes. It also includes light exercise.
It requires me to eat at a slight daily calorie deficit to lose 100g a day. That way, I could weigh daily, seeing the digital scales move knowing there was a daily result where I didn't have to impatiently wait for results to show at weekly or monthly intervals. Too long to show results causes people to give up. But if its daily results it makes you keep going because you can see movement on the scale.
I have always been in a normal weight range but last year I gained 15kilos. I lost 27 kilos doing this 100g a day plan . Its maintainable and sustainable. You never feel like you're even working at it. Never feel hungry, and you see the daily results.
I had tried so many ways to lose weight, none but this way, has worked for me. I have never felt better and I look amazing if I say so myself.
I have reached my goal weight and I still balance grazing all day to maintain my current weight. I will keep it this way for life. It works!
How did you do this? Did it have a name? I'm curious to have a look.
I have been in the same boat for years. Just started lite n easy and can highly recommend. 7 days, 3 meals and no need to worry! I just cook a couple of other meals for the family for the week. It’s the only way I’m going to lose the weight and am committing to it for at least 6 months. Week 2 and I’ve lost 5kg 😄
Start small - up your water intake and get yourself some tasteless protein (add it to coffee or anything really) these two things will help kick start weight loss. With this and intermittent fasting I'm down 70+kgs
Try Xenixal, it’s over the counter and scientifically proven for you to absorb 30% less fat
When you find the answer, can you tell me, cause I'm exactly the same. Stuck in this roundabout of fat. And I can't get off. Everytime I think about it, I vow to do something about it, then the time comes and I don't
I hear ya sis! You aren't alone!
