Hi. I am a single Mum of one. 45 years old. I tried internet dating a few years ago and was very dissapointed with the 40+ year old men I came across.
I am happy to be single and am by no means desperate or in need of a man, but thought I might meet some nice guys that my lifestyle and work commitments don't seem to allow me to meet normally.
Does anyone have a site that was good and had genuine guys, not just rat bags looking for casual?
Or is it just how they all are? lol

The only one I didn’t get inundated by guys looking for spank bank material was RSVP and that’s because you had to purchase stamps to make contact with anyone.
Then go for a different age group. I’m 46 and my partner is 24. The last 4 blokes I dated before him were in their 20s also, but they were just for fun. My partner and I have been together 3 years.
Men in their 40s are usually boring, have baggage and are overweight. No thanks 👌🏼

I don't really understand how women can want men that young. They are sooooo immature as it is, it would be like dating a child! I'll take an overweight 40 something year old who actually knows what he wants in life and doesn't play silly games over an immature 20 something year old who just wants some fun any day.
I’ll tell you why....it’s the power imbalance, she’s like to be in control, she can manipulate the shit out of them, she has issues, anyone her own age would see straight through her. Add in a splash of superficial, she would rather a hot guy than a true emotional connection and an equal relationship. She’s the opposite of women with daddy issues.....

I couldn’t date anyone in their 20’s that’s the same age as my daughter and her BF - still kids to me - and I’m only 38 😂 but to each their own 😁 if it works for you fantastic!!

Eharmony is ok as they have to pay a 12 month membership. I find it’s the shy or awkward guys that know that they can’t go straight for hook ups
I think some guys have been so hurt and broken by previous relationships! I would not say all want casual but some just want company and yes some just want sex! Some are just waiting for that click and connection but don’t want to rush! Just depends on what u expect and tolerate!
I went on eharmony. You do have to pay for it, and do a quiz before you set up. But it worked for me, have been together for 8 years and married for 3 😊
