Bowel Issues

I’m starting to loose my mind, I spend practically all day on the toilet (no exaggeration) I’ve been to one doctor and has said it’s Sounds like IBS without any test or stools taken to identify if theirs anything else going on down there.

Now this can be really quite embarrassing having to go to the toilet quite frequently as I do and it seems to be getting progressively worse for the last week I could go endless amounts of times in a day honestly I’ve lost track now. I get fatigued, headaches and nauseous and have noticed spotting on the toilet paper I’m not looking for professional advice just seeing if theirs anybody else who experiences this? I’am booked in too see a new doctor which hopefully will give me more answers or the very least run more test because surely I can have a better quality life than sitting on the toilet for what seems like 24/7.

It doesn’t matter what I eat/drink every food or drink causes this whether it be water, fruits and veg, junk food......

Please reach out if you’ve experienced anything like this.

My daughter is the same. IBS is always the answer when they don't know what is going on. Push your doc for a proper diagnosis, don't take anything but a proper diagnosis for an answer. Good luck

Change doctors ASAP.
You need a colonoscopy and endoscopy and an ultrasound.
You need answers.

can you update if/when you get answers?
My partner is exactly the same, he poops like 5-8 times a day!!
Headaches, always tired, did complain to spotting blood when he saw the GP.

Did a stool sample - came back fine so he won’t follow it up. He’s just like well I’ll learn to live with it 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

That isn’t normal and he needs to follow it up ASAP. He needs to get a colonoscopy done ASAP!! rule out anything serious that can be treated. Don’t leave it too late.

Omg you need to get in and get a colonoscopy done ASAP. Your dr should have ordered these tests. Not to scare you but it could be something serious and it might not. I had one recently and it was all clear except for a few polyps. My cousin had
One a 28’and and had bowel cancer. Get on to it ASAP!!!

My husband had the same symptoms and the doctor wanted a stool sample and had it tested straight away. He had a parasite that you get from eating a certain type of food from foodcourts. Medication to kill the parasites and fixed him. I really hate this but I am seeing more and more with men's health taken more serious than womens health

3 years ago I got the E. coli bug from taking antibiotics for a chest infection and had the same symptoms I went to the dr after 4 weeks and 10kilos down and I nearly died. Lost 80% of my stomach, part of my small intestine, a part of my bowel. I’m now down 42kg and honestly wish I went to the dr sooner. It took 2 years for my bowel to return to normal after this. I’m only 32, my periods have been irregular since, I can’t get above 55kg and now 2.5 years trying to conceive.

Get to the doctor my only advice!
