It’s a question I never ask people simply because it’s an awkward question but just wondering what professions earn what per hour on average? I’m in admin and earn $29 per hour permanent part time.

Contracts aren't really the same as pay rates.
Exactly and hence why I disclosed that..
Childcare casual
Diploma qualified $35.06 per hour
Cert 3 qualified $30.81 per hour
Wow! No offense but why is there so much complaining about low pay for childcare workers?
Wow I too am shocked by this... not as low as I thought given the amount I hear how poor the pay is in the field.
Probably because they're not FT and their jobs aren't secure. Plus, that makes a diploma about 70k per year FT. I'd prefer put in 4 years hard work to get a degree and earn more than have a job where you get treated the way childcare workers do (or do the job lol). It doesn't actually equate to great money for their conditions
That’s the casual rate as there is no holiday or sick pay. Full time can be $10 or more less an hour depending on qualifications and experience.
When I was in childcare, I was fulltime at $21 an hour. I earnt more working in the supermarket...
That's causal rates, I was $29 pt to care for inanimate objects that didn't get hurt if I didnt do my job properly.
Child care
My coworker was on $ 18 on when she started running a room and was expected to do more than a casual who floated around all without the same level of responsibility.
This is going to be so different for everyone! I'm self employed, I don't pay myself a wage, if I did it would probably be a salary of only $500 per week even though I do over 80 hours! So what's that like $7 an hour 🤣. You can look up awards online.
Self employed is different though. I'm on a 6 figure salary. Hubby subcontracts. He has more money coming in to our household than I do yet can be 55k for the year after tax is done. And we only claim about half of what others do as we don't like to push the envelope.
I wasn't talking gross payments, the OP asked for pay rates so that's mine, if I decided to pay myself! My business grosses 400k per year, I was just giving an insight from the small business owners as we often don't pay ourselves a wage and if we do it's very small.
Husband and I both chartered accountant. Him in commerce $87/hr and me in business services $57/hr.

Sat Rate $50

That's just at one agency I work for, but it's great pay and a great job! I do sleepovers too which can add to pay
Customer Service $35p/h (VIC)
Unemployed $0. And no government assistance even though my hubby only earns $22/hr. 😭. Covid has ruined us and I doubt we will ever recover.
You should be eligible unless you have significant savings! I claimed it for a short period early last year and my partners income was at 53,000.
Hubby has had to take a pay cut and now the threshold has been lowered we just miss out.
Partner is a qualified plumber and gets $30 an hour. Hoping for a payrise to $33 an hour soon.
