My family is due to vacate a rental property that we have lived in for 11 years. As excited as I am, I am not looking forward to the cleaning/ minor maintenance that will need to be done.
My question is.... Should the real estate take my bond to cover additional cleaning/ repairs will this affect my credit rating or a home loan application??
Ive tried good old google but I’m not finding anything.... perhaps this is a good thing.
Does the loss of a rental bond affect my credit rating?

It won’t affect you credit rating whatsoever and the only reason you would be blacklisted and placed on the TICA database is if you owe money and the bond doesn’t cover it and you don’t pay the balance. Get professionals to clean and if there is any maintenance that doesn’t come under normal wear & tear make sure fix it.
Get a bond clean done.
It won’t effect your credit rating but it will effect your chances of ever securing a rental property again.
