I wouldn’t worry about anything a forum tells you, if you’re concerned see your doctor.
Drink plenty of fluids including hydrolite.
This doesn't sound like a Keto issue to me. You could have a virus in your gastroentrial tract. Go see a DR.
Diarrhea can happen to some people who do Keto. This is why a Dr should be seen rather than asking online. While your advice says “see a Dr” you make an assumption that this is not somethibg related to Keto is incorrect.
Actually this happens quite a bit when you start a new diet. But she should still see a DR I agree.
In my experience, people who do KETO without a dieticians help, usually don’t consume enough fibre.
However, it’s impossible to ascertain if it is just a diet change that has caused this onset.
You need to seek a doctors appointment, and I strongly advise to write down everything you eat - this will help the doctor rule out other causes too.
Good luck
I have a few gastrointestinal health issues so I feel like I'm somewhat of an expert on buttwee lol.
In all seriousness, chronic and ongoing diarrhea is not normal.
It's your body's way of telling you something ain't right! It can be caused by viruses or some sort of infection, food intolerances (which I think is going to be the most likely scenario given your new eating habits), constipation or impaction/blockages or things more serious such as bowel conditions.
If this has been occurring for 3 weeks, it's time to see your doctor. If you want to continue with the keto diet, it probably needs to be done under the instruction and supervision of a qualified dietitian.
Go to a Dr and get a colonoscopy done. Best to be safe than sorry. Rule anything serious out but it’s prob that your body can’t handle that diet. Try something diff but see a dr also.
