Hi Ladies,
After 10 years of constant problems with Haemorrhoids, I am booked in for a colonoscopy, banding & removal of the 2 skin tags. I know it's going to be a painful recovery but for anyone who has gone through this, what is your advice? Tips, tricks, what would have done differently?
Thankyou!

Hi ! I have had this procedure done after my pregnancy !! It was a very painful recovery !!! My skin tag was huge and when they removed it, they cannot stitch it up in that area so they leave it open. And let me tell you, going to the toilet for the next few weeks was pure agony !! I had to go to the toilet and then jump straight into a bath. Only thing that helped the pain. However I once had to go to the toilet at work and I was left crying on the floor in a ball 😂 not something I told my co workers either. the doctor said I would just get more next pregnancy and low and behold I did but not as bad and I don’t want to go through that again. The colonoscopy prep was also horrible ! Good luck !
Listen to what they say after surgery on how to minimise pain or take someone who’s not high as a kite! My other half had this done and they told him what to do before I got there to collect him. He very stupidly said he didn’t need them to repeat what they had said to me. He was in absolute agony for the first night until we realised he hadn’t followed instructions!
