How long did you wait to start dating after separation? How did you start? Did you use dating apps? What advice do you have? I am 43 so this is so daunting. I'm not the young attractive 20 something I once was. I feel like men my age want someone younger?

It’s true, most men in our age bracket want someone younger or just sex. They have baggage, they are a nightmare. Dating apps just support them in being dicks. My advice, find some hobbies, groups you enjoy, engage in your community and you might find a like minded person.

I was 28 when my marriage ended. In my mind my marriage had ended the year before I wasn't feeling anything any more for my partner I only stayed for the kids and to build the confidence to end it. I ended up dating 2 months later with another ex of mind who I reconnected with. We now have been together 10 years married 6 and 2 kids. I know this is different but my theory is you have a feel emotionally ready and make sure it's really what you want.
