Hemorrhoids/skin tags

Hey IM's,
Sorry for the TMI
After giving birth to my daughter as a teen I am now in my early 20's and I've been left with skin tags from hemorrhoids with one being a reoccurring issue.
I have an appointment with my GP but I don't know what to expect to come out of it. Skin tags are really bad (without going into too much detail).
It's become a massive burden on my self esteem and don't know what to expect next or wether anything is usually done.
Thankyou all

I have external haemorrhoids, which means I have excess skin on the outside. Mine are pretty bad.
I have been to a doctor and asked about removal, however they won’t do it as the scar tissue will reduce the amount that the anus can open.
So I’ve learnt to live with it, will sometimes flair up, but only for a little while after I use my bowels, other than that they only affect my self esteem when I’m sexually active, but then I think, men don’t care as long as they get off 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had skin tag removal surgery two years ago and had 4 removed. The recovery was pretty intense. A week of being super swollen and really sore. Unfortunately I've got yet another one but I'll leave it as I can live with it which apparently is pretty normal and to be somewhat expected.
