Irregular periods? Or is this normal?

Irregular periods? Or is this normal?

I'm a 30 year old mum of 3. Healthy though about 5 or 6kgs overweight. In the past 3ish years my periods have become sketchy. Like some cycles will be 23 or 24 days, others 35 days. Though I average 25 days. But I never completely miss a period or not have it show up for months at a time, it does come every month. Prior to this I had 28 day cycles and I always knew it would come on the morning of the 28th day!
My question is, I've heard that period cycles can shorten as the woman ages and nears menopause. I'm concerned I may be getting close to this. Or is this normal for my age?
I should add, I cannot conceive without fertility drugs as I have issues with progesterone. I only conceived 1 of my 3 kids without assistance and it took many early miscarriages to get this diagnosis.
I'm not on any birth control because I don't really need it, I can't really get pregnant anyway. What do you guys think? It doesn't really concern me, more curious than anything. Also hoping menopause isn't too close lol.

I'm early 30s as well, I've definitely noticed a difference in my periods in the last 18 months or so but my doctor tends to write it off as my birth control (implanon).
The women in my family have a history of early menopause so that's also something I've wondered too.

It would be unusual to be in peri menopause at your age. I'm 47 and started showing symptoms when i was 46. In that one year i have skipped 6 full months of a period before starting monthly bleeds again

Peri menopause tho can take a decade or more to complete so even if that is the case for you, you will still have a long, long time before you start skipping bleeds and stopping altogether.

Hormonal fluctuations happen all the time, even medication, or stress can alter periods. So look at other factors in your life before you convince yourself its peri meno.

The best thing to do is to chat with your GP. What can be normal for one person can have a treatable reason for another.
Things like scar tissue from c-sections, fibroids, your family history (menopause isn’t unusual in your early 40s in our family), it also could be related to your pre-existing issues with fertility.
You won’t be wasting your GP’s time.

My periods have been weird this year after being regular all my adult life. I'm 40. Quite overweight. Never had fertility problems. I took my concerns to my GP who did bloods and checked all my hormone levels. You don't need to sit there guessing. Go get some blood tests and find out.

I found out all my hormone levels are perfect for my age, and my doctor believes that my weird cycles are due to stress.
