Hello ladies! Im wanting some advice please. I have a 10 year old son and am interested to know what chores you give your 10 year olds? I want to create a chore schedule to help build responsibility. So any input would be fantastic! Thanks!

My ten-year old mows the lawns (supervised), vacuums, cleans his room, cleans the toy room, does the dishwasher (if needed) and will clean the bathrooms if asked but that is very rare and just a tidy up
My 10, 11 and 13 year olds do the dishes nightly.
Kid 13 washes, kid 11 dries and kid 10 puts away and wipes the counters over.
They all fight over who's going to take the rubbish out and who's going to wheel the wheelie bins out on bin night (who'd have thought that would be such a fun job 😂).
They all have to keep their rooms maintained and generally pick up after themselves.
They have to put away their clean washing.
I also occasionally ask them to hang/ bring in the washing, vacuum communal spaces or run the duster over things.
They all also enjoy weeding the garden.
When our pets were still earthside, it was their job to feed/water the animals too (under my supervisor of course so I ensured it was done).
My kids are now 15 and 13. For the past 6 or 7 years their jobs have included: cook dinner once a week (supervised as needed), wash up, clear the sink, put the washing on, bring the washing in, empty the rubbish and recycling bins, put the wheelie bins out on the street, vacuuming, mopping, washing the car. My eldest has occasionally been mowing the lawn for the past year or so. They do maybe 4 or 5 jobs a week, depending on what needs doing each day. They’re also responsible for keeping their own rooms clean and putting their things/rubbish away in the main living areas,
My son is 9, he has to clean and vac his own room, feed the dogs and chooks, help with feeding calves, they're his 'compulsory' daily chores but he will also empty the dish rack, vacuum, cooks himself a hot breaky each morning, and now cooks dinner once every couple of weeks
Miss 12, is pretty similar, though she bottle feeds calves, alternates with chooks, cleans the bathroom if needed, vacuums etc
We don't always have set chores as such, but I work so will often say to the kids if we all clean, we all get to go have fun, so we chuck some music on, pick jobs and away we go!!
They've learnt if we all chip in I can sit and watch them ride horses and motorbikes, take them to the lake etc
