Muscle growth

Muscle growth

Just hoping to get some fitness advise please.

I've recently started a very physically demanding job (landscaping) I absolutely love it and it's actually been really beneficial health wise, mentally and physically. I've toned right up and lost a few kgs too but its kind of going beyond that now I'm turning into a total beef cake, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that and I really don't mean to offend anyone. I don't see anything wrong with women who are muscular, skinny, tall, short or curvy.
It's just not what I want for myself.
So my question is, is there a way or diet I can follow to lean up rather than bulk up?
I would love an idea on what I should be researching.

& please don't suggest cardio 😭

Thanks x

You’d have to gain fat in order to cover up your muscle definition.

Not really. Muscle growth is a natural reaction to weight bearing. Can you change how you do what you do to reduce repetitive heavy lifting (ie, trolleys etc).

Lean muscle is light reps and cardio work. Bulk muscle is heavy weights. Maybe try adding cardio if you have energy to add more! Or try using lifting devices to avoid doing all the work manually.

Oops I didn't see that! But I did suspect she doesn't want to add extra workouts to a manual job. Unfortunately that's the answer though.
Perhaps a cardio activity as a hobby for fun, long walks, dog walks, bush walks, swimming for fun, roller skating, dancing

Haha thank you, I think I knew deep down inside cardio was the answer. I don't hate it I'm just so tired from work that it'll be the last thing on my mind.
Will definitely look into something fun to get me more motivated. X
