Being a single in this day and age, I’m wanting to avoid dating apps. So my question is, where did you meet your now partner?

On a dating app 🤣. To meet someone in real life is hard these days, especially if you have kids and don't get out much. Plus guys are now confused about what's appropriate and what's not so don't always ask women out face to face.
I started talking to him on POF - dating app lol. I tried to meet men out and through friends but to be honest I actually found it harder. I enjoyed talking to my partner for over a year before we went on our first date. There were a lot of frogs I had to wade through to find him but there were so many more options than I would have had attending the pub. I am so glad I met him!!! no regrets on the dating app
The traditional way.
We met at work almost 16yrs ago. He was the manager. We got married, had a son, and have been together ever since. 🥰
On Plenty of Fish
I met my husband through a hookup, of a friend of a friend lol. Bern together ten years
I met my partner via my old next door neighbor. I’ve been on dating apps (once for a short period more out of curiosity) and find its full of dodgy guys looking for a quick hook up and no commitment. If we ever separated id rather stay single, which was my intention after my ex husband and I spilt. I’m weird that I feel like if the right persons is coming into your life they’ll find a way to be there.
Sorry not much help, but yeah as I said to answer the question I met him next door though my neighbor
He was me neighbour
I met mine at the pub... we shagged on the first night and then decided to date... still together 6 years on.
hahaha! brilliant :)
Nothing wrong with shagging in the first night
Nothing at all 🤣 .... I’ve had my fair share of one night stands over the years between partners. The night i met him was different to any of those. It was like something clicked. Sexual compatibility is important to me. But we did talk for hours and hung out before i decided weather or not id walk home with him. Could have left him at the kebab shop.
Exactly same scenario with my now husband and I. Been together 10 years
When I was in high school, in the car park of the kfc I worked at while I wasn't actually working.
Still here 10 years on 🥰
At a pub...... we were 20. 36 now and would have no idea where to even begin!
