Breast Pain - Is it ‘normal’ for you?

Hello,
I had a question about breast pain. I am 27 with two kids. I’ve never experienced breast pain before. Back in March I started to get this hot aching pain in my breast. I got a little bit worried because I haven’t breast fed in over 3 years, and I’d never had any pain before (either randomly or around my cycle time). I went to the GP who fobbed me off saying it was nothing. I went to a different GP and I ended up getting an ultrasound on the breast in question and everything was fine. Fast forward 8 months and I’m getting the breast pain again, but it’s worse. I have crazy anxiety so I called the radiology place and asked them if my scan was checked over by a senior person to make sure they didn’t miss anything. The reception lady advised that all scans get checked over by the senior radiographer. That gave me a bit of piece of mind, but I’m still worried. I’m not sure if I’m actually genuinely worried or if it’s my crazy anxiety so I just wanted to reach out to other ladies and ask if you have or are experiencing breast pain, that turned out to just be normal breast pain? Surely if it was breast cancer I’d know, given the 8 months in between the random pains? Thanks for any advice/experiences.

If you’re worried, get another scan!! My mother found a lump in her breast 4 years ago, had a scan and was told it’s just a “fatty mass” when she went back for another scan two years later she was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer, and because it was left so long she lost her breast and the nodes. ALWAYS trust your gut if this is not your normal xx

I had something similar. Turned out I was having mini heart issues - my cholesterol was sky high!!

So go back to the GP - ask for a full set of bloods (to check cholesterol, T cells, Red blood cells) and ask for another ultrasound or CT
