Exciting Horizons - engagement ring inspo

Ok ladies.

So my partner has asked me to pick out 3 engagement rings I like.. so he has a little idea on the style i like .. only i have no idea. Quick look around the jewellers and i wasn't super inspired.

So i thought maybe you ladies would care to share the moments you said " yes " xo

Show me your pretties :)

Oh I’m not sure how I am meant to show you a picture via this way. But mines a diamond band with a bigger round diamond in the middle and a smaller diamonds in a square shape a round it.

Have a look at independent jewellers in your state. You can find some stunning one of a kind pieces and most use Australian stones and metals so it makes it even better.

I have a trillion cut. Love it. Not ever met anyone who has the same.
I also love the layered look that’s out now

Jump on Google to look at different basic designs. Once you find the one you like (or a few), hone in further on metal type, diamond cut/shape. Probably be the easiest way to narrow it down.
I've always been a diamond solitare princess cut kind of girl. Not engaged (although together over 20 years), I figured a few years back I'd buy my "pretty" otherwise I might never have one lol.

When my ex husband and I discussed rings I always said I want white gold with a diamond in the middle and 2 smaller either side. Then he went and got me a gold band with a diamond in the middle and 7 small diamonds each side in the band and you know what? It was perfect! It was dainty, suited me perfectly and now I only wear gold ;) I had also said for years (took him 9 years) I'd be happy with a $2 vendung machine ring lol! Sometimes it's good to be surprised, and let them choose. If I have my time again (not even dating lol) I'd love a sapphire, but again, I'd love anything as long as my future man picks it :)
