Early endometriosis

Hi guys, since June I haven’t had my period which is very unusual for me. I am not pregnant. Today I had an ultrasound and the imagining Person said it looks like I am in early stages of endometriosis he said I would need to speak to my doctor and may need more test. I was just wondering what those tests might look like? How it was performed and what you experienced. Can you also get pregnant having this? Thanks

I had to have a laparoscopy and have the Endo removed
It the scan person shouldn’t have told you anything as they aren’t allowed to read the scans and give results

You need to have a laparoscopy to be diagnosed. I have stage 3 and you cannot tell from a scan.
Try seeing a proper endometriosis dr not a normal Gyno as gyno are not specialized to deal with endometriosis.

The person doing the ultrasound should not actually say anything, unless they are a doctor. And endometriosos can only be dianosed by laproscopy. It can be a cruel and painful disease.

If you have it, you may have trouble falling pregnant. I had it really bad, being cleaned out under general anesthetic every year of my life after 25 and it took me 10.5 years to fall pregnant with my second child as it got worse after my first. Also lead to an early hysterectomy for me.

Sorry, giving you worst case scenario here but you have to know what you are facing if you do get diagnosed.

Good luck xx
