Weight issues

I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager (am now 40 years old)
I have a pretty crappy relationship with food, and I know I need to address this.
Not long ago I lost over 20kg through diet and exercise. But it was so mentally draining I just know I cannot go back to that. Constantly obsessing over what I ate, drank, how much calories were in my foods and spending hours a day at the gym.
Then I began bingeing to the point I felt sick, guilty and powerless over my health and well-being. I suffer from depression, anxiety and terrible pms.
I have regained all the weight I lost and I struggle with finding a healthy way to eat right and exercise without losing control.
Does anybody have any advice as to what I can do to become more in control of this?
Can anyone recommend a good dietitian, or anybody that can help me with this apart from a psychologist or psychiatrist? (Been there already)
Sydney area
Really wanting to learn how to make this lifestyle change stick permanently

The 20 kilos you lost .. what did you weigh before you lost the weight? As I'm 73 kilos and want to lose 20 as i was always in the low 50's and size 8. However I've come to realise that for my height of 170cm I'm really not that fat at all. I think i am tho. But apparently I'm not as as a size 12 according to all those i vent to.

I’m about to start the healthy mummy program. I’m hoping that because it sets a meal plan and exercise routine for you that I find it easier to stick to and maintain. You still get six meals a day but it’s more about portion control than denying yourself food

Create a routine.
Like 1/2 walk every day. Then increase it. Make it normal for you. The obsessing over food and gym is not normal. I have to train myself to think differently too.

It’s proven the only effective diet is one that has a calorie deficit. So try just increasing protein and vegetables into your diet. Remove the sugary drinks and snacks and you’ll be surprised how easy it can be.

weight loss is slow and can be frustrating and mentally tough. I weight 90kg/169cm and a size 14/16.

Since not dieting - I haven’t gained weight. I’ve actually lost weight more easily by focusing on habits.
I walk every morning before work - either outside or on my treadmill. I don’t lift weights, but use my own body weight during yoga and occasional pushups and planks. I spend 15minutes before bed packing my lunch for the next day so I don’t make bad choices.

Protein nut bar, a salad sandwich and a coffee satchel with a piece of fruit. It’s all I need for a 9hr work day. Then I start dinner when I get home - and I snack on the raw veggies and I’m chopping and cooking.

Just create healthy habits. Give it a few months and see how you go.

I wrote my 2020 habits down on the side of my fridge and I’ve increased them without even realising.

I’ve just lost15kgs. I train twice per week and I just walk 30 Mins per day. Similar starting point to you to. It’s always 80% food and 20% physical. I also live in Western Sydney. My PT has been great at motivating me, keeping me on track and keeping me accountable. He’s located in Schofields and is just about to open his own gym at Concord. Let me know and I can give you his details. Very affordable (I’m a single parent carer) but he’s ex military so it’s never softly softly.
