Ewwww. I don't like women completely shaved. Why try to look prepubescent ? I think it's a bit wrong. But I understand lots (most) people don't agree with me. But a man? So much worse. Plus, less stimulation... hubby trimmed once. Ruined my fun lol

Trying to look pubescent is a really strange way of looking at it. I myself, started removing the hair as soon as it started to appear. It had nothing to do with wanting to look younger, it has everything to do with the fact that it’s hot, uncomfortable and I hate body hair, it really grosses me out. The only hair I leave on my body is my actual hair and my eyebrows. Everything else comes off

Same here. I can't handle the feeling of hair on my vagina. Annoyed with it as the only person I used moved on during covid :(

But much to say it’s ewww, I shave completely bald, I prefer it, i certainly don’t look pre pubescent because I’m an adult with an adult body and hair isn’t the only thing that makes you look like an adult. It’s just a preference.

I really hate that "pre pubescent" argument. By that logic, men should never clean shave their faces, they should walk around with Ned Kelly beards to avoid looking pre pubescent!

Really not loving the body shaming element going on here. People can remove, groom or grow their body hair how ever they prefer!

Saying someone is trying to look prepubescent is just wrong. I'm a grown woman and not into public hair, but that's my own preference. My husband trims and it works for us - neat and tidy. We all have different preferences, neither is "ewww" or "wrong".

I shave. Trying to look "prepubescent" has never even crossed my mind...I just prefer to be clean shaven down there. I guess you also don't shave your legs then, if that's your argument...

In fairness, this isn't body shaming. It's a personal opinion and is recognised as being one that many others won't hold. It's not any different than someone not liking short hair cuts on women because they think short back and sides are manly, or polka dots on clothes because they're childish, or breast implants because people are trying to look like societies idea of beautiful. Examples of similar views could go on forever.

It is body shaming because:

A. The OP asked if men removing all their pubes was common or becoming a new trend, she didn't ask people to share their opinions on pubic hair in general.

B. The words "Ew", "a bit wrong" and "trying to look prepubescent" were used.
Telling someone what they're doing with their body is wrong or vocalising your disgust about another person's bodily choices is the actual essence of body shaming!

Considering women's magazines like vogue have described it as a fashion trend pressuring women to look pre pubescent and medical journals have done the same, whilst simultaneously citing the purpose of pubic hair being to help protect against skin issues, bacterial infections and other pathogens that can infect genital regions and calling for the trend to end, it isn't body shaming to dislike a grooming practice that idealises an immature body and stops a bodies natural defence to things that can impact on a person's health. If you prefer the look, go for it. But I find the origin of the trend gross...

I haven't had pubic hair apart from now when my usual is no longer in the industry. 25 years and no "issues" in or around my vagina due to lack of hair. Its very healthy actually.

The same as women, it’s a personal choice. I have been with some that have full bush, some that trim and some that are bald. My partner is bald down there because we live in North Queensland and he drives a fork lift, so gets very hot and sweaty.

I know partner and I have both tested it out.
Better for head, not much difference otherwise although he reckons it makes his dick look bigger lol.
Might have been the angle your new man love was aiming for.

I thought the only people who used prostitutes these days were over 50 beer bellied men so I have some pretty weird pictures happening in my head right now

Not the IM above but have friends who are in sex work. All sorts of men (and women) go to sex workers for all sorts of reasons! Young and old, skinny, fat, rich and poor... all depends on what you need or want. One of the gf had a Priest too 🤷‍♀️.

Wow must depend where you live. I remember seeing an interview with a madam from Kalgoorlie and she was saying it's dying, that and scripted porn as all the guys are moving to live cam girls and tinder

Its dying in Kalgoorlie, yes, you are right. I know the Madam there that you speak of. But its alive and busy in Perth for sex workers. Its all moved to the City.

My partner has shaved his junk for the entire15 years I've known him so I'm not sure this is "new".

It's really just personal preference!

And trust me, there's too many douchbag guys in the world. You find a good one and you won't care how much or little hair he has on his peen 😉🤣

It's not uncommon. I shave myself because I hate having hair down there and it makes me feel gross if I do. (I don't care what others do and not saying it is gross if you have public hair, I just personally don't like the feeling of it) some men are the same.

That would freak me out I think.

Apparently it makes their junk look bigger 🤷‍♀️

My partner and I were discussing it the other week. I brought myself a epilator and he’s considering man scapping just the once to see what I think 🤔

For me I prefer my men with their hair and beards. I also don’t feel I need to shave it all off either so ... I hate how it feels when it regrows and I got ingrown the last time I did it and I just managed to get rid of them it was an effort and a half. I think some people prefer to keep it and others prefer to shave it. Nothing wrong with either. But if you’re not fond of it and you date for a while tell him you’re ok with Him keeping it if he doesn’t want to shave it all the time.

Define the definition of normal? Can you really put a label on what is normal these days?
At the end of the day it’s his body and his choice.

I mean.... if you spent the night with a man and you didn't get a Brazilian and he posted
"Guys, I spent a night with a woman last night who still had hair there! Is this the new norm?"
Would that be OK? Who are you to judge what a man does with his own fricken ball sack hair 🙅‍♀️🤦‍♀️
HER BODY HER CHOICE
HIS BODY HIS CHOICE

I have had no hair down there, for more than 20 years. Hubby done his a few years after we were together and oh man it was the best decision he ever made! When we have sex... oh man!!! Feels so good!
It's been around a while now! Not new!

I have has laser, and prior to that would shave. I hate having public hair, especially during my time of the month. I feel very unclean and uncomfortable with hair body hair.
I've know my husband for 8 years and for all of those years he's always "manscaped".
I think it's a personal preference, but I also prefer no hair on him, especially if he wants me to give him head.
