Duromine is available via script thru a GP, it costs a fortune and is only available for a maximum of 12 weeks
Duromine just legalised speed. It is dangerous and doesn’t work. You may drop weight, but as soon as your stop taking it you will put the original weight straight back on plays probably more. Also has terrible side effects
I am fully aware of this as my husband was on duromine. Im not saying its a safe drug by any means thats why u can only be on it for 3 months and its up to her doctor to watch her on it and up to him to monitor and assess any affects and advice on the drug itself.
Weight loss is more about what you consume than who you work out with. If you are seeing a pt and still not dropping kgs your problem is your diet. Have a better look into what you are eating/drinking and make changes there before looking for a quick fix wonder drug that won’t work
I’ve been eating very healthy, I’m not having dairy due to allergies I’ve recently discovered, and I’m trying to eat as whole food as possible. Yes I’m still human so it’s not perfect but I’m consuming at, of under my recommended KJ for the day..
Struggling to understand how you can be eating healthy foods, and consuming less recommended calories but yet be overweight. This isn't possible if its purely diet related.
Don't take offence OP, SOME people have no idea the struggle some have. I have to train like its my day job and eat like it to lose/maintain my weight.
Saxenda.
It’s a daily injection. Husband has lost 30kgs on it.
Have you considered weight loss surgery? You can access your superannuation to do it once your specialist has completed the appropriate forms of you don’t have PHI. It’s come a long way since the lapband
Try keto or atkins.
I love duromine.. it really helps suppress your appetite..
for me it works well when I’m on it but I always put on when I stop taking it. 😩
There is another tablet that is meant to help.. Diaformin
diabetics use it to help with their glucose levels.
If you are obese I would consider weight loss surgery.
The sleeve or gastric bypass.. Not lap band.
With all the money you waste on pills, diets, personal trainers.
Good Luck
Wish you luck. Hate when people make comments like oh it takes time. I walk thousands of steps a day at work, I walk the dogs, I ride and eat fairly well but cant shift it. I cant eat most bad foods due to shitting myself if I do..so eat well and under the max recommended...Still cant shift it.
If your BMI is high then you will be eligible for Duromine. It costs around $110 per month, with a rebate from private health insurance. Yes there are side effects, just like any other drug or surgery. I have taken it and the side effects were minimal and well worth it, it's different for each individual though. If you're worried, start on a smaller dose then increase. Duromine is aimed to compliment a healthy diet and active lifestyle. If you achieve this then there should be no reason why weight is put back on afterwards. I kept my weight off for a few years until I went through a period of stress (emotional eat) and little exercise. Everyone's experience is different, some have no problems with Duromine while others do. It's up to you and your Doctor to decide if it's the right option for you. Goodluck xo
