Has anyoe who has ever had a cold sore had lip fillers?
Did it cause more cold sores?
Do you get them more frequently since having filler?
Ive had the biggear fear of cold sores most of my adult life, a legitimate fear. I got my first one last month and have had a hard time with it. It was a rather large one so im told.
I now have a red mark where the sore was but nothing else.
I also get a random tingle in it and nothing else. (Is this normal)
It's been a month since the sore cleared?
Is this a scar? and am i still contagious?
Ive always had little tingles here and there on my lips over the years but never a cold sore but now i think im over thinking it and making myself feel tingling. Anyone shed light on the red mark?
Also id like to know if anyone has had cold sore breakout caused by lip injections. Sorry about all the question. Im very confused as to when i wont be contagious.
I also want to know if by me getting
lip filler will bring them on more permanetly.

I suffer from cold sores and get lip filler. When I get filler I have to go to the chemist and get a medication that prevents them from coming up with the filler irritation. But unfortunately, once you have one you'll always be susceptible to them.
I normally get them from stress and being run down. I've had a massive one after my computer broke a few hours before a major assessment was due it was almost the size of my top lip. It took about a week to go down, and I had no scar. The mark can stick around for a bit, but as long as you didn't pick at it it won't scar.
I always keep the cold sore band aids on hand, just in case. I don't really use the cream, just those band aids and carmex along with a cold sore supplement.
