Early menopause or something else?

Early menopause or something else?

Has anyone gone through early menopause from having their tubes removed or had any symptoms that feel like menopause?
I have had nothing but issues since having it done.
I'm having 12 day periods and when I'm not having a period I'm ovulating except for a few days after my period and a few days before. I'm having lots of hot flushes, night sweats, cramping and mood swings that iv gone back onto anxiety meds for to help control them. I'm currently seeing my gp and trying to work out what's going on and my blood tests for thyroid and iron ect are fine these tests are from a while ago so I'm due for fresh ones and I'll ask if there is a test for menopause 😕?. He thinks the blood vessels may have been clamped which is apparently common and it should be moved out the way. Or iv possibly got cystic ovaries which a old blood test come back that it's a possibility but nothing was mentioned when having my tubes done or in the report so we are thinking that's not the case..
Contraception isn't an option for me so I'm about to have an ultrasound to see if an ablation is an option and see if anything else is going on but I have expressed how much I would prefer a hysterectomy to just avoid future issues with periods.
Anyway I have read menopause can happen after tubal ligation so I'm wondering if that's what's going on or happened to anyone else? Or has anyone else had the same experience and she'd some light? Anything help get better?
It's getting worse and worse each month and my periods are all over the place. I had it done march 2019.. Its actually ruining my life! I'm a single mum and eventually would love to get back out there but I can't with how messed up my body is right now.. I'm only 30 and this is exactly what I was scared of happening after having it done.. 😭😭

You could be one of those unlucky people who would have gone through early menopause even if you didn’t have your tubes tied and if you can’t have hormonal contraceptives what choice did you have, other than tube tying?
Removal of the uterus can also trigger menopause and removal of uterus and ovaries (full hysterectomy) definitely causes menopause.
So please don’t waist your precious emotional energy on the what if’s.

In my case long periods were caused by fibroids and having the fibroids removed made a huge difference. Also making sure my weight was in a healthier range really helped me.

If you have your uterus removed it will stop your period but not the menopause symptoms you also won’t be able to do simple things, like lift a washing basket or lift your arms above your head or drive a car for up to 6 weeks. The same for if you have your ovaries and uterus removed. So I think it’s a good idea to explore what’s going on before going straight for a partial or full hysterectomy.

I had my tubes tied at 36 (still considered young) and by 40 had full blown menopause. Whether they were related, I never asked. But had a mirena inserted by Gyno and was the best thing. Stopped the bleeding and reduced the flushes, etc to almost nil. By the time it had lost it's effectiveness my menopause was done and I've been getting on with life with normal post-menopause issues LOL
