I need inspiration for work ideas. I’m 42 I have spent most of my working life in retail, working shit hours and dealing with the public. 3 years ago I moved to a new job for the convenience and the roster is great. I work from home taking calls. But it is so god damn boring I’m struggling, I know what my next call is going to be I know I’m going to repeat the exact last conversation for the entire day. I now wake up wishing I was sick so I could take the day off. It is purely the no weekends and work from home that I stayed and the fact that I don’t know what else I want to do. I can’t just leave I need to find something first. I was thinking trying to get into a school office. But that is near impossible I have been watching for those. What else is out there, what are some jobs that you do that you love.

Sometimes it isn’t a job that you need, but maybe a hobby or a way to destress?
I think you need to find what you love, but remember most jobs are repetitive... that’s why people are good at their jobs.
