Has anyone else gotten a letter from Centrelink telling them they are part of a class action in regard to robo debt?
I got one the other day, and am not 100% sure what it entails.
I currently have a large debt to Centrelink that I’m repaying fortnightly, and have had another in the recent past.
I’m not quite sure how I managed to owe all that money, but figure I must have under estimated, somehow.

It's been declared since that if you got a robodebt centrelink are going to pay it back as it was unfairly calculated Because the class action is going for compensation for distress as well. You'll hear from them again when they get to doing yours.
You don’t have to do anything. They’ll notify you about what happens next.
If you look up Not My Robodebt on Facebook you’ll find helpful information
I got a letter too. I really hope they win as it's such a flawed system.
This Robodebt crap was still happening 30 years ago. I had to fight a debt back then with an ARO and won .
Centrelink tried to bill me for $6000, 30 years ago. I kept all pay slips and upon an ARO calculating it by fortnight, it showed as just $30 0ver estimated in 12 months. I had to do their job for them and calculate the daily rate over 12 months or the debt would have stood. . These Robo debts have been around for over 80 years . My grandmother talks about how it happened to her too back in her day , just less known . Centrelink got away with it so much every 20 years, that that they re do it again every two decades.
