I just had an incident in my car due to me not paying attention. Plus I’m hungry and tired. I feel awful 😞
Would there be anything wrong with telling my husband a little white lie about what happened?
Just tell him that someone must have hit it while I was at work?

I ran up the side of a trolley return thing.
I told the truth. As hard as it was I couldn’t lie.
It’s a pretty bad scrape 😞

How bad was the accident? Is the other party likely to want you to pay for their repairs.
No one else involved. Just my screw up 😞
I did something similar a while ago, I was just completely honest about it. He was fine. Is he nasty when stuff like this happens?
Naturally he is upset but doesn’t get nasty.
I’ve done the exact same thing, I was exhausted, Christmas rush in the car park and 5 kids yelling and fighting in the car. I told him as soon as I got home. He laughed and said I was a dickhead (in jest) gave me a cuddle and that was it
Good on you for telling the truth. I actually know someone this happened to and they lied, however insurance claim got wind of something NQR and did investigating and it all came to light with CCTV footage. They ended up charged with fraud and hit/run as it damaged the pillar they’d hit! They had claimed to insurance it was a hit run whilst parked at the centre.
So well done for being truthful :) sometimes things happen and it’s just what it is xx
I’m a teacher, this remote learning is busting our chops and we’re working very long hours. We’re all exhausted. I was driving the other day and hit a gutter and busted my tire. We all make mistakes. Honesty is always the way
I work in insurance, and trust me you’re not the first, nor will you be the last to do something silly 🙃 My last claim was due to me not putting the car in park and not putting the handbrake on fully, it rolled down the hill into a tree 🤦🏼♀️ I thank god the kids weren’t in the car with me!
Awww you’re a good wifey 🤗 lol I reversed into a trolley bay many years ago in my husbands car, it looked like someone had tapped it with a bull bar 🤭 it took me 6 years to own up that it wasn’t in fact someone tapping the car with their bull bat 😂 we had a good laugh about it but I wouldn’t have heard the end of it back then 😬
