This doesn’t really have anything to do with parenting, well it does in regards to fur parents. Has anyone had a cat go completely missing for at least a week and safely returned home?
We’re all missing her and worried as it’s not like her at all.
I feel silly. Fur babies and going missing.

Mine went missing a year ago and never found. It's sad not knowing what happened to him, I know he's dead as he would never go too far from home and we moved houses quite a few times and always stayed with us. You still have every chance of your cat coming home if its only been a week so fingers crossed for you. If it's normally an inside cat put the litter tray outside so she can find her way back x
Yes she was handed in to the vets. Our dog died and she went and found a dog of the same breed and wouldn’t leave it alone
5 months. The day I sat on my back step and cried the little witch wandered back in.
My cat wandered off, we'd just about lost hope then he came back meowing at the back door at 3am one day. He'd been gone over a month! Came back practically obese 😂 I'd love to know what he got up to!
On a sadder note though, old or sick cats sometimes do run away to find somewhere safe and peaceful to pass away.
Fingers crossed your beloved cat is just out having an adventure!
Thanks for the replies. It’s so nice to hear the outcomes, mostly positive. I empathise with the poster who didn’t get their cat back.
It’s only been a little time and am trying to stay positive, but am also hearing reports that a lot of cats go missing in this area.
Sometimes cats seem to enjoy playing with your emotions.
Cats are like cheating, selfish men. Make you feel like you're the only one they would eat from but they would shack up with anyone if they had the goods. Some cats have several homes they call their own and each home is none the wiser, they think they are the only ones. You have probably already done this but if not put her photo on your local facebook pages, check vets, pound, cat shelters. I'm sure she will show up eventually.
Yep. Crawled in covered in 100s of paralysis ticks. Vet wasn't sure how he managed to get home let alone live. He's 16 this year....
