Same present for kids at Xmas

Thoughts on getting same present for 2 children in the same household?
Both girls really into barbie and both wanting most of the same bigger items eg campervan. Would you only buy it for one of the kids and pick something else for the other? Is it really that bad then getting a few of the same items? I know they should just share ect.. but what’s the harm 😬

I have bought my kids the same items if they both wanted it. Or if it's a bigger item it would be for both of them to share. I think it's OK to buy them the same, if that's what they want.

We often used to get the same or similar thing. I don’t see an issue at all

I have twin nephews. I usually get them the same thing, but in different colours or theme. So I might get them LEGO, but one will get a car and the other a truck. If the items they want are available in different colours then get different colours, if not I don’t see any issues getting them exactly the same items. Depending on their ages you may need to write their names on them or mark them somehow to distinguish between who belongs to which items.

My girls often get the same things, being only 16 months apart they're basically into the same things.
I have never got 2 big ticket items like barbie dream houses or barbie camper and etc though - they would be joint presents in my house 😊

Nope if that's what they love, get it. They'll play together. Just label them.
