Does anyone know of a good financial advisor or app? I have found out my now ex has used all our savings on drugs and pokies and I’m still on maternity leave he has put us behind on some bills, now I have got rid of him I want to get back on top again

You might find a financial counsellor better. They don’t sell products and are usually free and deal with debt, and people in financial difficulty. Where as an advisor is more about structuring your finances by using investments etc.

I follow the Barefoot Investor which is amazing at helping you get on top of debt. He advises speaking to the national debt helpline to speak to a not for profit financial counsellor if you're in over your head. Their number is 1800 007 007
