I have a recently turned 9 year old girl. Her behaviour has changed for the worse, through talking rudely, shouting, not listening and whinging at every little thing also generally wanting to control everyone. She’s the youngest of three and I know it’s sounding like such a small problem, but it’s really unpleasant.

She could be coming into puberty. For a good year prior to my daughter getting her periods, my daughter would turn into a witch for one week of the month. It did take me a few months to catch on, before I started recording the dates she would get moody and fair enough it was the exact time she now has her periods every month.
But, if this is something she's doing constantly, maybe something's happening at school, change of friends etc.
Thank you for your reply. I didn’t even think of puberty due to her being only just 9 and almost permanently being this way. Though I think I’ll keep track of when she is most moody.
Just the usual catty things happening at school and a lot of boy talk.
