So who has large families, I mean more than 4 kids? How do you make it work, what do you do to cut costs to make sure everything is okay financially, what car do you drive, is having a big family really that great, when do you ever get you/partner time. What if your renting? How does that work.

I have 4 kids, however we don’t rent and if you do you make them share rooms. My kids are fairly spaced apart and I’ll only ever have 2 in high school at the same time. You budget hard, you don’t get unnecessary things. You save and you make sure you and your partner are always on the same page. We’re going to have 5 kids eventually and we only live in a 4 bedroom house with no plans on renovating any time soon.
I had 8 kids . But your questions have exhausted me so I'm going to bed . Lol .
We’re a blended family of 9. 7 children, mine his and ours. Aged from 14 down to 5 months. I budget wherever possible, meal prep and bulk buy specials when I can. We brought a Volkswagen Caravelle(9 seater) which is an excellent car and awesome on fuel (we travel a lot). We had a family holiday in July where we all flew to Cairns and stayed for a week.
Having a big family is wonderful, the kids play with each other, they all get along (ours do anyway) and they are so considerate of others. My husband and I have time together once the kids are in bed and once a month we only have our 2 babies. We used to rent, everyone shared a room and they got along pretty well with it too.
