The best thing you can do is have consequences for when he uses. Being his ‘soft’ place to fall isn’t kind to him. Hold him to account and if he continues using he doesn’t get to stay living with you.
Get your self some counselling from someone who understands addiction and setting boundaries so you aren’t enabling.
You should both see a counsellor who specialises in addiction, it will benefit both of you in terms of psychoeducation and also therapy. On top of that, the counsellor will likely recommend support groups.
Do you have PHI? if so you can upgrade and not serve waiting periods and have him admitted to a private psychiatric facility to help him.
