My period is due on my friends wedding. We are going overseas for it and my period is due at the exact same time. I have endometriosis and my periods are heavy, painful and just down right awful. Is there any way I can delay it by 4-5 days? I'm not on the contraceptive pill so that isn't an option. Please help, I really want to be able to enjoy myself!

How far away is it? I know the mirena would help but it could take a while to settle in. Ask your GP what your options are?
There’s a once off pill you can get from the gp or chemist :) it’ll stop it completely and many brides use it

I'm pretty sure it's the morning after pill she means. Probably will delay, but might have side effects.
If you are talking about the emergency contraceptive pill - it does not stop your period- in most cases it makes no difference to your period. Depending on how long between now and when the wedding is you are best talking to your doctor.
