Stutter in toddler

My daughter is 2.5 years old and has recently (about 2 weeks) started to stutter a bit. It is usually on W's but occasionally on other letters too and only occurs at the start of sentences. If I ask her to just say a word beginning with W it is fine.
She seems aware that she is doing which can sometimes lead to her getting frustrated or upset.
I'm just wondering if other people have had similar experiences and at which point should I be seeking professional advice?

Most kids who stutter at that age grow out of it, if your concerned see your GP and ask for a referral to a speech therapist

Mothers instinct. The fact you are even asking the question I would say see a speech pathologist. Early intervention is key. But yes, I would not be totally alarmed at this age. Sometimes they are just so eager to get it out and can stutter. If she is getting upset or frustrated even more a reason to seek professional advice. But dont stress, my opinion is it's on the 'stuff kids do' list!
