How would i go about setting up a stall at local fetes and events? My product is more of a night time product so looking more towards night events then day time markets, just have no idea where to start.

School fetes tend to be daytime. So probably not the market you are looking for.
Most schools don’t get/let many outside vendors into there fetes. The exception is usually food trucks/vans, and mobile coffee vendors. Then they usually choose popular vendors who have a proven record at other events like councils etc, again usually food trucks etc.
If that’s what you are aiming for you need to advertise just like any other vendor and build a name by hiring stalls at local markets, music festivals etc. To hire a stall you just contact the organisers they usually advertise well ahead of the event.
A google search for local markets in your area will give you contact details. Markets are always looking for fresh faces. Give them a ring, message on Facebook, through their website ect. There is a charge to display at any venue.
What’s ur product if it’s a nighttime product?
Light up toys and balloons ,which would be more appealing at night time to sell.
I was going to suggest fringe festivals, twilight markets and music festivals but I think you are going to struggle as most of these events are trying to reduce single use plastics. Balloons would generally go against the ethos of many of these events.
The only way you will know is by approaching these events in your area.
Could you set your self up in a gazebo with walls? This would create a darker room type to display during daytime. They can be purchased for a couple hundred depending on size. Look in camp stores.
Do you have Speedway in your local area? I know at ours there's a few people with stalls, mostly food but there are a few with products like you sell. You could ask your local shire for any events coming up where you could have a stall, like festivals or firework nights and concerts.
