Weightloss help

So I have been visiting the doctors for blood tests and to get told not only is my iron low but I need to lose weight. I am 104kg and my height is 170cm. I had my 5th baby 15months ago and I know we won't have any more but my mind thinks that there's a chance and I am in no rush to have to lose weight.
I have an islanders background and a solid person but what I am really asking is what helped you lose weight?? For 3 months I went to the gym, ate really well (had a meal plan I stuck too) and only lost 4kgs 😓. I have always been good at losing weight but lately it's been getting to me that the whole time was 4kgs. I know they say don't go by scales but my doctor goes by the scale and is sending me to a dietition.
I hate going to the gym now because I find I am wasting my time.
I need some mumma motivation to get me to start seeing results and to get inspired to be 20kgs lighter because I am struggling and my husband or friends don't really understand why I am not bothered anymore.

4kgs in three months is actually really good. Fast weight loss just leads to fast rebound weight gain!
My dietitian recommends about a kilo a month. So you were right on target.

Don’t fall for the fad fast weight loss schemes. It’s not healthy for you and causes more harm than good down the track!

Change your goals at the gym. I work out because it is good for me, it builds strong muscles, it’s great for my heart and lungs and also helps with my mental health. It also means I can chase my kids etc.
