Tubal ligation with PCOS

Tubal ligation with PCOS

I am looking into permanent birth control options, I have PCOS and find hormonal birth control makes me a bit nuts and raises my blood pressure, as well as affecting my weight. I am looking into tubal ligation but have heard the risks of side effects are higher in women with pre existing hormonal issues. Has anyone with PCOS had this proceedure and how did it affect you? I will of course take it up with my Dr also, but wanted a couple of people in the same position to let me know how it went.

I had my tubes ligated 14 years ago, and I’ve never heard of it being worse for PCOS. In fact , it should have no bearing on anything at all. It’s the uterus and Fallopian tubes that are directly linked Hormonally , not the tubes . The tubes are simply a passageway of cilia to transport the egg .
