I recently got a quote for a tummy tuck, it was around the price you've been quoted. If the surgeon deems it medically necessary by meeting the Medicare criteria of losing 5 BMI points or more in weight plus other criteria you'll get around $1500 from Medicare. There are a couple of skin removal groups on FB you can join, one is Australian Affordable Skin Removal. People share details of surgeons and their experiences of surgery.
To join these groups you’ve had to of had weight loss surgery, have private health insurance and answer a bunch of questions when you ask to join the group about the things you have. I just attempted to join the group. I’m not the OP. Both groups require you to of had weight loss surgery already and I’m looking for information on weight loss surgery. I don’t have private health but have access to funds for surgery. I don’t want to tell them that though. Do you have any other group reccomendations where I can get information without having PHI? I’m wanting to get a tummy tuck and liposuction. I don’t want to have the sleeve or bypass.
