Hi IMs,
I've been having some issues with heavy bleeding during sex. Little bit of a backstory, I have abnormal cells and get tested yearly with a Colposcopy to make sure it doesn't turn into Cervical cancer. The abnormal cells sit on the outside of my cervix and bleed whenever they are touched or disturbed, this is what causes the bleeding during sex. However my bleeding has increased significantly over the past year which is unpleasant and honestly a bit awkward during sex, my doctor suggested a procedure called Cryocautery, which she described as freezing the cells on the outside of the cervix to stop them from bleeding. My question is has any one had Cryocautery done before and does it work? And a follow up, does it cause scarring on the cervix and make it difficult during child birth?
