I screwed up... my family and I were homeless for over 12 months due to a lot of things out of our control we finally got a house Yay!! Issue was we moved 10hrs away from home, there are 7 of us. Anyway fast forward 6 months I'm in so much debt I'm breaking I work full time hubby stays home to look after our youngest and the house during the day until older 4 get home. I'm not on a bad pay it's just not high enough hubby is too sick to work which with Drs he is working on but today I got paid after all bills and loans and rent are paid we have $350 to do 2 weeks does anyone know of consolidation loans or ways I can try get all our loans compacted so I don't pay so much? I'm stressed beyond belief my anxiety is out of control and don't know where to turn.

Go to salvos or another charity and get some financial counseling. They may be able to advocate on your behalf. Do not go down the road of bankruptcy or part 9 agreement.
My husband and I were in dire financial situation. Banks and debt collection agencies were calling us. It was awful. Anyhow, thru a close friend, we found a great financial counseling and then an advisor. He was upfront about everything. We consolidated our debts and the difference was amazing. We had to pay pretty high interest rate for 3 years to get all debts etc off our records but then we refinanced again 3 years later and got an amazing rate for our home loan which we are smashing.
There is light at the end of the tunnel.
Can your husband look into MLM such as Tupperware? I don't know about you, but I would think a male would rock doing something like that and I would be so much more inclined to buy from a male than a female doing it as it's something different!
I'm not gonna lie, that's quite a sexist and incredibly frustrating view, i say that as a woman in the retail/sales industry - it's already hard enough for women to be taken seriously in such roles!
People who do MLM often end up expending more than they earn in proffits anyway, it's more a hobby than a stable income.
OP: look into debt consolidation, maybe contact some of your loan companies and see if they'd be willing to extend your repayment period so your weekly/fortnightly repayments can be reduced.
Also look into some professional financial councelling and budgeting services.
Perhaps hubby needs to consider retraining in a field he can male work around his health issues.
Short term, definitely seek assistance from charities and food banks!
Single income families just struggle these days so I don't think what you're experiencing is out of the ordinary!
I understand it is sexist however I just would be much more inclined to purchase off a male trying a new industry that is extremely predominantly ruled by females. I'm a female working in a male dominated industry and I get a lot of return customers due to the fact I am woman, and I guess I can really appreciate the opposite sex trying their hand in something.
Find out where the free food giveaways are and get your husband to go and pick those up weekly. They're great we used to get bags of veggies and bread and bakery goods, saving $100 A week and having staples takes a huge edge off.
I'm not the poster but.. what state are you in? Im in Vic and would love to know about some veggies and bread stuff that's available...
I've known of these in QLD and NSW. I'm not sure who to ask though, try volunteer community assistance organisations? Or council? Fb community group pages? Hopefully someone can direct you.
Where in Vic are you? In the Eastern suburbs there's heaps of places and a lot of community gardens/help yourself type places I can recommend.
I'm Mulgrave 😁
Great! There’s Holy Foods a charity in Lilydale, The Food Bank in Upwey, Community Garden in Upwey, a Place in Croydon does free fruits veg and bread. Holy fools will be your first start!
But I’d also contact your local church or salvos and see when they put on dinners which are a gold coin donation too
